Testing on a 2900Dwt Dry Cargo

A test was performed on a 2900Dwt Dry Cargo between Årdal and Bergen.

The ship had 2 years old biofouling, predominantly green algae. The Shipshave ITCH was tested successfully up to 10 knots. The picture clearly shows the cleaned area against the green bilge keel.



Testing on a Dry Bulk Ship

A test was performed on a 5550Dwt Dry Bulk ship embarking in Årdal in Ryfylke while the vessel was loading, and where we disembarked in Bøneset on Karmøy.

The ship had 3 years old biofouling, a good mix og black algae and “green grass”. The Shipshave ITCH was tested successfully up to 10,5 knots. The picture shows the cleaned light coloured antifouling and the uncleaned areas close to the bilge keel with black algae.



Testing on a General Cargo/Container vessel

A test was performed on a 3040Dwt General Cargo/Container vessel between Somaneset and Husøy.

The ship had 2,5 years old biofouling, predominantly black algae and green grass. The Shipshave ITCH was tested successfully up to 11 knots. The picture clearly shows the cleaned light coloured antifouling and uncleaned dark areas near the bilge keel.



Testing on a Dry Bulk Ship

A test was performed on a 5780Dwt Dry Bulk ship.

The ship had 2,5 years old biofouling, predominantly “green grass”. The Shipshave ITCH was tested successfully up to 10,5 knots. The picture shows the cleaned red antifouling and the uncleaned areas with green growth.



Testing on a Platform Supply Vessel

A test was performed on a 5000Dwt PSV in the fjords near Stavanger.

The ship had 3 years old biofouling, predominantly black algae. The Shipshave ITCH was tested successfully up to 12.5 knots. The picture clearly shows the cleaned red antifouling and uncleaned black areas.
