We need an Operations Manager to plan, source, manufacture and support our products

Our small team needs a flexible and enterprising operations manager. You must be passionate and like to make a positive difference for our customers, for the company and the environment.


The Role

As Operations Manager, you are responsible for the timely delivery and support of our novel hull cleaning products. We strive for user simplicity, standardisation, reliability and growth.

You are responsible for producing, delivering and supporting  products for our customers. This includes supply chain, manufacturing planning, manufacturing, quality, and customer support.

As the first manufacturing specific employee, you plan and execute manufacturing strategies, processes, and required resources in our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Material planning in coordination with sales to ensure timely delivery
  • Manage and negotiate with suppliers
  • Production planning and execution including resource requirements
  • Identify and manage operation risks
  • Analyze and solve manufacturing challenges
  • Oversee post-sales customer support with support from R&D.
  • Develop and implement business processes.
  • Develop competencies and technical solutions to implement and improve new or existing processes.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Good technical understanding with minimum Bachelors level degree in engineering, or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience within a production environment of integrated mechanical, electrical and software systems.
  • Organized with excellent attention to detail while maintaining quality and documentation
  • Understand ERP and business systems
  • Able to manage logistics and supply chain from product development to shipments
  • Fluent English, both verbal and  written.  We use English for documentation and communication.

 Desirable:

  • Basic understanding of electronics manufacturing with embedded systems.
  • Business system configuration and administration within manufacturing
  • Experience with small to medium scale manufacturing of electro-mechanical products.

Personal competencies

  • Selfstarter with ownership of the results.
  • Able to handle multiple simultaneous projects within a small company environment.
  • Hands-on with good practical skills.
  • Communicate in clear and structured manner.
